For instance is there a chance your at risk of doing it all your life or does it miraculasly disapear after 3 or 4 years. I havnt studied much about it ... What do you guys think ?

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  | My husband never had it and he is 3 yrs out - My son had it for the 1st month - nothing since and is 4 yrs out. I haven't experienced it yet either but have stayed within the rules for the past 8 weeks so guess I am not much help there Judy

| Super Moderator  | It can happen any time after stomach surgery that involves making the stomach smaller--whether it be for weight loss or stomach cancer. You may get it early on. learn what makes you dump and manage to avoid it the rest of your life by avoiding the kinds of food that cause you to dump. On the other hand, you can get it for the first time years after surgery.
