Smile Things are moving fast

Hi everyone!! Things are moving fast. I got my approval last week and due to a cancellation, I am meeting with surgeon tomorrow and probably scheduling surgery. I have a few questions. How long were you in hospital? Did most of you have lap procedure? Do I need to buy liquid vitamens to start out? Thank you in advance for your time. Karen

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

i was in the hospital overnight, they wanted to keep me an extra day, because i was from out of town, but i begged to go home, so i just had to drink all my fluids and they let me. . I had the lap roux en Y , and as far as vitamins your Dr. will recommend which ones to take and when to start taking them, just follow his rules. You will do great. keep us posted

HI karen glad things are moving fast
but the hard thing is every surgeon has different
requirements.
You may have to see some other doctors
to get clearance for the surgery.
I had lap surgery
i had surgery on wed am and was released saturday am.

I was on centrum chewalbe vitamins that i buy at walmart
from the day of surgery.

hope that helps
hugs

I did not have lap band -- I did a laproscopic RNY -- I was in the hospital for 3 days/ 2 nights including the day of my surgery -- so it wasn't too bad. But bring your own pillow! I wish I would have thought of that one! I brought a lot of stuff I did not need. As for vitamins I don't think I've heard of anyone here using liquid -- but could be. I use the Viactiv chocolate ones its like having candy but its being good! Good luck.
