mmm, so what does the "old" stomache do now?

*i might win the stupidest question of the week award with this one- lol

but here goes...

ok, so here i am and i am having horribly loud rumbling while in church and i think it is coming from my old stomache! lol-- i mean it is LOUD! lol

so now that my plumbing is rerouted, what does the old stomache do and what of the large intestines- how does that all work now?

i think doc posted on this. cant remember what she said exactly. still makes juices and what not but thats about it.

Well, your stapled off stomach is still attached to the general plumbing, and produces the digestive juices that you need. Your large intestines (a.k.a. colon) is intact, it has not been touched by the bypass surgery, it's only part of the small intestines that have been bypassed and rerouted.

My new stomach makes allkinds of noises, my hubby laughs and tells me its talking to him..lol..My baby is 5 and he loves laying his head in my lap and listen to my tummy talk..
