| Super Moderator  | Yes, it does, or rather, the rapid weight loss does, as the estrogen stored in your fat will be released when your fat melts away, and these wacky hormones will disrupt your cycle and all. Please keep in mind that this also makes you extremely fertile, and hormonal contraception will be ineffective during this time, so if you are in a position where you need contraception, then you must use other methods.
