Question Question about energy

I have no energy at all. It's getting worse by the day. My doctor wants me to start walking but I just can't. The least little thing I do I am so tired that all I want to do is sleep. Have this ever happened to anyone else?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Ty - yep! I really felt like my surgery was a rebirth of sorts because I was like a baby postop - All I did was sip, sleep, and well you know..... You're still early out and just learning to get your nutrition, still movement is important. I started with literally just walking to the mailbox and back several times a day and then just increase it as you are able. It will get better.

You are so new out, get up, walk as far as you can. I know you're tired, we all have been there. Every time you get up, walk to the end of the driveway a few times, next time go out and go 20 feet more. I'm 3 weeks out and I still have no energy, but I did it in baby steps and am getting my walks in, they help in so many ways. gas, energy, weight loss. You can do it.

Oh, yes! I wanted to cry because my surgeon wanted me to walk 30 min a day and I was worn out just walking to the bathroom to pee! And your muscles are really lax right now so it is going to really work them when you do get some walking in, I started with just 10 min of walking and I hurt in places I never knew existed before! It might take a few weeks but you will start feeling better and the energy will come back, just do what you can for now and dont worry!

Yup it did. I swear it took me a good 6-8 weeks to feel up to par. My srugeons office warned me and just about that time I finally started feeling better. Some days I would sleep all day and then others I would be busy around the house. hang in there girl. your doing great and it will get easier.

Oh tyraine...it is so hard in the beginning. I remember that I took more naps after surgery than I ever did before. Just listen to your body and work with it. You will get to where you should be. Remember that you are still in the first month and take care of yourself.

I experienced a lack of energy as well. I walked several times during the day but I really did not do a whole lot within the first three weeks. Then I went back to work and I was spent about 6 hours into the day. This lasted for about 2 weeks. As everyone else has said, listen to what your body is screaming at you. The hard part may be to determine mind over matter.
