Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass   |  Why am i getting these headaches?  For the last 4 days i have a headache every day. Right on the top of my head. It's not migraine level, but it is annoying and throbs.  I believe i am drinking plenty of water... I sip all day and get well over 50oz a day. I don't feel dehydrated. So I took a tylenol and it helps, then returns by night time, and i take another tylenol which helps again, but then each morning the darn thing returns. A vicious cycle!  Any clues?

Sorry your having headaches, they stink...i used to get them early out as well, mine were i believe from a combination of dehydration because even to this day im not good with fluids and caffine withdrawal. I was to afraid early out to have coffee....prob about 4mths out i started a little.....now i dont stop drinking the coffee. But prior to surgery i was a HUGE diet Pepsi drinker, would drink it all day.... Also alot of sinus stuff going around could it possibly be that? Not sure but whatever it is i hope you feel better soon. If your symptoms continue or get worse you should consult your doc..... Also love your pics your looking great..... LittleLisaMarie

hmmmm could be caffeine, Kenya thinks withdrawal too.... But i did not think of that! I used to drink 2ltrs coke a day, and coffee too. But now my caffeine comes from tea or cocoa, (I TRIED SOME COFFEE BUT I DON'T SEEM TO LIKE IT RIGHT NOW) and now that i think of it, i have not had tea or cocao for a few days... so i guess i need some caffeine! Why didn't i think of that? lol LOL- before that would have been my first guess... but i always associate it with coke. so THANKS!!!  Quote:

Im right there with you I have the worst headache ever today I have tried taking stuff and even a nap its just there and hurts I have notice since I had the surgery I also get more headaches then before. Hope you feel better

could still be migraines, i get migraines all over my head, including in my neck, i have for years, have had catscans and all...so just watch it and make sure if it continues, you consult your dr. it very well could be you needing caffeine, when i gave up pop i had a headache for over a week. good luck hope this goes away headaches suck!

Headaches finally gone!! The hot tea and cocoa (which has some caffeine) did not do the trick... so i suffered through a few oz's of a coffee (i used to love it, now i hate it) and the coffee did the trick!! thank goodness, i could not take another day of a headache and i did not want to take any more tylenols. so... next time i get a headache i will have a cup o joe! thanks for all your advice etc.

Caffine Is Not Good For The Pouch Though. Also Doesnt Lack Of Potassium Cause Headaches. Hey You Never Know. You Had The Surgery In Oct So Im Thinking Why Would You Go In Withdrawl For Caffine Now. Thats Why Im Not To Sure Its The Caffine. But Maybe Doc Will Know
