I have been using anit-itch cream and cocoa butter. I wondered if anyone else had found something that worked better!!!! |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | mine is raised and dark, but i scar this way with all injuries, incisions etc. its like hard, raised scar tissue. i have the same fot my c-section and this is why i may opt OUT of any plastics lol. also like a dummy i put skin firming lotion on my tummy..smart, real smart...lol!

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | My incisions did not itch until the last few weeks and I have scratched two of the incicions until it was a little raw. The ones that itch the most are the incicions on my right side. I have tried the lotions and do not seem to help and I am going to try the cordizon cream. I have some in the house and I am going to try some tonight. My husband laughs at me also becasue he thinks it is so funny when I scratch, but I cannot help myself becasue when they start to itch, the itching drives me nuts until I scratch. This was a good question to ask. At least I know now that I am not the only one, who's incisions itch.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I had the itching thing it was just horrible, I asked my Dr when I went for my post op appointment she said to try a benydral and if that didn't work then she would give me a prescription for some coritzone cream. The Benydral worked I only took one and that took care of the itching. It just itches some times of and on now.
