Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Someone told me that using color on your hair actually makes the hair strands expand and will add volume. I need to color mine due to the fact that all of my new growth seems to be white/grey. I would ask them not to use permanent color and one for thin hair.

I have always had very thin hair. Here about 5 months ago i let my cousin use highlights. Its the best thing I could have done. I have had it redone since my surgery and it turned out even better. It makes it feel thicker and you can do so much more with it. I used to be one that swore never to color my hair but..... it just works so well for me . The cousin that did my hair had WLS herself and states it helps with it.

Getting highlights in my hair actually made it look and feel thicker...its about time for me to get them re-done too. Isnt it funny how losing some weight lets us take the opportunity to do things to ourselves that we would have never thought about doing beforehand?? I could have NEVER seen myself with blonde highlights prior to surgery, now...LOVE IT! Go for it!!

I've colored my hair 2 times since surgery (one root touch up & one over all with highlights).....I have kept it cut shorter, and I honestly haven't really noticed the hair loss in a while.

I've been losing my hair for a couple of weeks now. I still intend to get it recolored at my next appointment. I think that it's not going to matter - the ones that are going to fall out are going to fall out - period. And I dno't want to walk around with roots showing, yuk.

I have progressively shortened mine as it seems thicker and styles nicely. The gray was killing me so I did do an over the counter color that lightened it a bit and when it started wearing off the gray wasnt so obvious. Having said that, I still seem to have a significant hairloss. Hey, here's a question for ya'll --- Why does the hair on our heads fall out but not our underarms and legs!!!! I still shave all the time, sure would be nice if we could adjust where we lose hair!
