this is not a weight loss question, but am just curious...my son seems to have worse growing pains then my daughter had. when he was 3 years old he had Guillian Barre...could this be part of the reason?

I'm not a pediatrician, so I can't say for sure, but I don't think the Guillan-Barre has any effect on it. I remember vaguely that we were taught in med school that for some reason, the boys seem to have it worse than girls. Given the effect of female hormones, and that they kinda protect the female body because she needs to nutur babies in the future, that might have something to do with it--though this is just a thought right off the top of my head.

That's okay. I hope your boy will be in good health from now.
