Default vitamin question

Hello, everyone. I have noticed that as I feel better and better and my eating has normalized, I tend to forget my supplements. Now, I know they're absolutely essential and I'm working on remembering them, but I have forgotten a couple of things. So, my question is: Let's say it's 11pm, I'm in bed and remember that I forgot them completely. Now, last nite, I got up and took all of them thinking well, maybe I'll get the benefit of them, but then wondered about that as I know the absorption is different. I took my Centrum silver, calcium citrate 1200mg, and Biotin 3mg. That's 7 tablets. Now when I am at work, I put them on my desk and just ingest 2 tablets at a time an hour or so apart, but at home I just forget them, even if I have them out!!!

So the question is should I take the same dosage when this happens? part of the problem is that I only want to take them just before I eat or while eating, otherwise I feel like they just get washed away. Thanks for the advice.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Good question, I wonder about this too. Im sure Doc will be on soon.

just washing right thru me and now Im really thinking.

Very good question.

Better to take them than never, but do keep the calcium and iron apart.

Unless otherwise stated, it's always better to take your vitamins/supplements/meds with food too.

great question! To add...should I be taking iron supplements in addition to the daily multi? Right now I am taking the following:

2 daily multi
3 Biotin
3 Fish Oil
1 Vit C
3 Calcium with Vit D - just before bed.

I honestly do not know if there is something that I should be taking that I am not. I already feel like the Vit Queen. I have never taken so many suppliments in a day. My doctor has asked me for a blood sample to evaluate my nutritional intake, but I do not think we are even discussing it for another 2 months minimum. I don't like to waste time. So any expert advise would be greatly appreciated.

I also take them in the morning, the bottles I keep up in the cupboard with the coffee cups, so when I go to get a coffee cup, I grab my vitamins and then sit at the computer and drink my coffee and take my vitamins while I am on here! I do forget the ones I have to take at nite often, when I remember after I have gone to bed I just get up and take them then, I have to figure out a way to remember the nite ones better.

Hi! Can I ask how many of the chewables do you take? I have big problems swallowing pills of any size as it is (before surgery), and when I do, I have to have alot of fluid to wash it down. I am looking for alternatives to the pills.

Thank-you!
