Default Daily totals

Hello all! Just looking for some feedback..

I went to fit day and tracked my intake today. It is a super helpful site! So anyway here are my totals:

Calories: 1023
Fat: 73 g
Carb: 23 g
Protein: 68 g

Does this seem about normal?

I am still loosing, I have about 50 more lbs to go to be at my goal. I am about 10 months out of surgery.

Thanks!

jaime

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I usually limit myself to no more than 10-15 grams of fat per day....but that's just me....

Fat is a bit high. At a total of 1000 kcals, fat should be around 30-35gs total at most. Also, make sure the fats are good fats that are naturaly included invarious foods, not ones that are added to make the texture smoother, the taste richer.
I know most of you are afraid of carbs and afraid they will cause cravings, but try to get in more good carbs as in whole grain, fruits, etc.

FYI
1g carb = 4kcal
1g protein = 4kcal
1g fat = 9 kcal

Thanks for the advice! I ate 2 slices of cheese today... as well as chix salad w/mayo.
Kenya - yeah, I feel totally lost too! I'm really grateful for all the advice and support - it helps me to not feel so lost!

For maintenance, carbs should be about half of your total caloric intake. At 1000 kcals, that translates to around 125g carbs. If you don't want to up the carbs too much, then try to keep it around 100g, and increase your protein accordingly.
For instance, 45% carb, 30% means 25% protein. Gram-wise, that's 112.5g, 33.3g and 62.5g respecively.
