Question slow weight loss

hi all i went to the doctor today and found out in two weeks past surgery i've only lost nine pounds. that seems low to me considering i am mostly surviving on protien shakes. has anyone else had these kinds of results? does anyone have any suggestions to speed up the process?

thanks,
cangelski

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

First Off There Is No Way To Speed Up The Process Hun. First Your Body Is Healing So You Have To Give It Time Second Off Your Body Could Be In Starvation Mode And Confused To What You Are Doing So Its Holding On To Its Own Body Fat. It Has Happened Some Of Us. Dont Worry It Will All Come Off I Promise You That!!!! Im Living Proof. Remember One Thing You Didnt Gain It Over Nite So It Wont Come Off Over Nite. Just Do What Your Doc Tells You And Be Patient. He Gave You A Tool To Work With Not A Magic Wand. Lol.

Dont Worry Hun It Will Work Out For You

9lbs in 2 weeks means 18lbs in one month.
Now, if you lose 18lbs per month on the average for the next 12 months--one year, the total will be 216lbs.
If you really go on losing at this rate for one year, you will end up at 29lbs

BOOTS is 6 months out, and she has lost a total of 74lbs which puts her average monthly loss at 12.3 lbs per month.
So, how does your 18lbs per month compare to her 12.3 lbs per month?

Where weight loss is concerned, you need to train yourself to look at the long term picture, not the daily numbers.
You are doing very well.
