Question Can I drink these?

My co-workers made me up a gift basket and just dropped it off. It was so thoughtful of them and such a surprise. They gave me 2 size metal strainers, measuring spoons, gift cards to GNC and some drinks. The drinks are what I'm not sure of ...Can anyone tell me if these are ok or will they make me dump...

Ensure high protien 8 0z - 12 gr protien, 31 gr carbs, 19 gr sugar, 6 gr fat

Carnation instant breakfast packet - 5 gr protien, 27 gr carbs,
20 gr sugar, 1 gr fat

Neither of them are on the list the Dr gave me and my co-workers tell me that they are holding the balance of the cases for me a work so I'll have something to eat when I come back.

Thanks for your help. Laurie

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to gracefully not drink these at work. You know they will all be watching to see how I'm enjoying them. This is going to be a tough one for me. I don't know if they will really understand the problem with these drinks and I don't want to offend them. Suggestions PLease..Laurie

I would say no to both. Both of them have way too much sugar. My doctor had told me not to take anything that had over 13g sugar in a serving.

how sweet of them!! That was so thoughtful, as for the carbs and sugar, sounds high to me, ask your surgeon though. If he says no, maybe they can take them back and get sugar free, they sound like such nice people, just be honest with them, maybe even describe what dumping is like to them.
