I am about 4 days out and am having trouble with cold water. It seems like it gives me instant gas after I drink it, as well as my sugar free juice. The only thing that is not so bad is my broth.

Is this normal?

Imi congrats on the your surgery. I found room temp water and warm green tea went down best along with chicken broth. I was around 2 weeks post op before it was easier to get my liquids in. Hang in there.

Hey you! I was gonna say broth, but you got that! What I am doing is filling a plastic bottle with whatever (crystal light, etc...) and leaving it out all day to get room temp. I leave my jello out on the cupboard too. I noticed the same thing about cold water, and the room temp works better!

Yeah, didn't you get mine? I sent it to the one you gave me, but you never know (I'll try to re-send it). I'm glad you're back on and doing good. I'm better, but still taking 1/2 a pain pill here and there. I guess we have to keep sip, sip, sipping!!!! (It's harder than it sounds though!!!! lol)

Im Still Doing Room Temp Water/crystal Lite Because As You Lose Wt Wait Till You Guys Notice How Cold You Get!!!! Its Unbearable, That Is One Side Affect Of This Surgery. I Cant Handle The Cold Drinks Because Im Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Cold 24/7.

Also I Used To Love Wonton Soup While I Was In Your Stage. Of Course You Just Drink The Broth And Dont Eat The Wontons. You Guys Will Love It!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
