Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I am about 4 days out and am having trouble with cold water. It seems like it gives me instant gas after I drink it, as well as my sugar free juice. The only thing that is not so bad is my broth. Is this normal? |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Imi congrats on the your surgery. I found room temp water and warm green tea went down best along with chicken broth. I was around 2 weeks post op before it was easier to get my liquids in. Hang in there.

What I am doing is filling a plastic bottle with whatever (crystal light, etc...) and leaving it out all day to get room temp. I leave my jello out on the cupboard too. I noticed the same thing about cold water, and the room temp works better!

Its Unbearable, That Is One Side Affect Of This Surgery. I Cant Handle The Cold Drinks Because Im Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Cold 24/7. Also I Used To Love Wonton Soup While I Was In Your Stage. Of Course You Just Drink The Broth And Dont Eat The Wontons. You Guys Will Love It!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
