Default Need Help. What Is Going On With This Gas?

Ok folks I have a very very important question that I need to throw at you. I know every body es unique and everyone reacts differently to the operation.

But I have noticed that I generate a lot of gas (very nasty gas at times) way too much than before. now this is generated by because of the operation? is it because my stomach is working differently?

My wife has not chased me out the house yet, but I am sure making serious points for her to make that desicion. (Just Kidding)

So tell me any ideas to stop those evil gases from showing up. I am getting tired of saying ... will this eventually go away or I am doomed to this "New Me"

HELP

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I have found that too much artificial sweeteners or too much sugar free foods will cause some of the most terrible gas I have ever had. Some of the protein bars will do this because of the artificial sweeteners.

I'm with you, brother!!! Oh my gosh, I wish I could tell you how many times it just happens. There is an interesting thread on here about the surgery and how it affects our bodies and causes more gas. I get the most relief out of walking (and walking, and walking...) Thankfully, my episodes arent smelly but def numerous and hard to control!

I hear you to LOL, I thought it was just me and things that I have eaten, it seems like I am always passing this gas. I was also told that fiber can do this to you. I have been taking gasX and it does help. I used to have to take it on occasion but now I may have to take up stock in the company. I think it is because of your new system.

My doctor said it's normal for at least the first 4 months. I have it all the time, I'm a woman, my husband thinks its so hilarious, I'm like an old man. The two mentors for my bariatric program that have had the surgeries themselves said that it was that way for about 8 months, after 3 months it got better and better though. Barely after a year is it a problem but they note that their stomach still makes lots of noise, more bearable that gas though. Don't despair, your body has been replumbed. Are you regular?
