Really stupid question LOL, but here goes....
My bf and I are going on a little trip to Atlantic City to celebrate our 5 year anniversary on Monday. I've bought a new outfit and new shoes, but am having a bit of difficulty in the panties dept LOL. I'm 5'4 weigh 154 and wearing a size 7 in juniors. My Mom bought we underwear for x-mas that are a size large from Victoria's Secret. They fit okay in the waist but seem kind of too big in the butt. I've been looking for the past week at other stores, but all of the underwear comes in sizes- 5,6,7,8 and so on. Pre-op I would buy 10's (i think) and 18/20's from Lane Bryant, but now I have no idea what size to buy. The pretty ones I want from Macys are kind of expensive to just guess on the size and you obviously can't try them on..... So, how do you figure it out?!?? LOL Help!

no idea. ive been lucky. maybe since you qear juniors you could buy undies in that section?? are even undies in that section? lol. i dunno. i get victorias secret but each cut i wear a diff size in. medium in the high cut brief, large in the low rise bikini and so on. wow i was of no help. im sorry go commando!

I'm 5'4 too but tend to carry most of my weight in my butt. The last time I lost I was in a size 12 and wore size 7 panties. So I would guess that a 5 would be right for you. Before you spend too much on the wrong size I would suggest you go to Walmart and buy one size 5 and one size 6 of the cheaper panties and then see how they fit. Have a great time on your trip.

Well I work in Lane Bryant so maybe I can help...I think that since you are in the junior dept. then you would probably be a medium in regular underwear. If it has numbers on it then a medium is a 5/6. If you go to Walmart or Target they have charts on the back of their underwear packages that have waist measurements on them so you can find your size that way. I would suggest buying a cheap pair and then getting the size that fits however you have to keep in mind that cheaper underwear has a different cut than the more expensive counterpart.

Thanks ladies!!! You are the best I never thought about buying a few really cheap pairs in a few different sizes. I'm leaving for another one of my "undies search" now! Wish me luck! And yes Kenya, I definitely need to post some updated pics. So, when I get back I promise to post some!

OK, bear with me on this one, but why can't, you try them on?? Just keep your panties on while trying them on. I always try on bras don't you? Panties can be tried on with panties under it. It's your money so make sure it fits.

You definately can not try on underwear even with your own on. It is a health regulation. Even with bathing suits if the paper lining in removed from the crotch area it will not be accepted as a return. You may be clean but God knows what people's netherlands are like!!!

You can try panties on as long as you keep your panties on-- as in bathing suits--don't pull off the tabbed paper- undies don't have tabbed paper, but try them on with your panties. No big deal! Wash them when you buy them and take them home!
