How to delete subscriptions, email notifications

How do I delete email notifications and subscriptions? I'd like to just be able to come on an browse thru points of interest and not see every single remark made. Thanks for your help

Go to your UserCP->Edit Options, scroll down and click off the email notice options there.
Or, if you either post through Post Reply, or go to Advanced on Quick Reply, and scroll down, there's a box for options of email notification which will apply for the particular thread.
