Lightbulb How to upload images including pictures

To upload pictures into a new thread or a post.
When starting a new thread, go to the forum where you wish to start the thread, and click “New Thread” on the upper left corner.
When posting images into an existing thread, click “Reply” button at the left bottom of the last post.

There are 2 methods in posting pictures.
1) From an online album such as www.photobucket.com or myspace.com, or any other online album of your choice. This method will show the image itself in the post.
2) From your computer. This method will show the link to the image, not the image itself.

1) From an online album.
a) Choose the picture from your album, click to choose, then right click and copy the image URL
(with photobucket, choose and copy the Img tag)
b) Either directly paste the image tag into the post, or open the Insert Image tab and past the link into the box that opens up. (The Insert Image tab seems not to work with some links, so pasting in the image tag directly seems to work better. Use the "preview post" feature to make sure the images come up correctly.)

2) From your computer.
Scroll down to below the posting box, to Additional Options.
Go to “Attach Files” and click “Manage Attatchments”
A new box for “Manage Attachments” will open, and you will see “Upload File from your Computer. Click “Reference”, choose the image you wish to upload, and click “Upload.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Hi Doc

I have now added this to a new Renewed Reflections section in the FAQ's. So between the two, people should be able to find what they need

Becca's input on how to put up images and pics.

Dude, click on the little paper clip at the top next to the smile's, and click browse, find the pic you want to add then click up load, IF it says its to large, you have to take that pic to your editing, i use paint, cut the pic of you out and save it then do it all over again, Then once it up loads, click the little arrow next to the paper clip and choose the one you want, when you add it, it will look something like this (ATTACH)67(ATTACH).......The add your text either before the pic or after............

There ya go............I hope it helps

FemmeMode's performance.
Wow....Becca....I don't know how you figured that one out...that is difficult and I couldn't make it work....here is what I do....pretty simple.

If you know which pictures you want to post....go to
www.photobucket.com get yourself an account and then do the simple "browse" and upload there.

Once you have the pictures in Photo Bucket...they will give you 3 options of code....
  • Url
  • Tag
  • Img
You'll want to cut and paste the IMG (3rd one) in the box where you write the post....when you push "submit reply" it will magically appear.....Like this.....

cool huh??? right now as I'm posting this....there is just a line of code...but it will turn into a picure in a minute! (BTW...I took this picture last week at the central park zoo.....I'm getting ready to make some wings for 'Bella....monarch wings)
Good luck....it's super duper easy
