POSTING PROBLEMS for me....

HEY folks i dont know how many of you post on this board from different computers but my upstairs computer does not allow me to post anything on this message board. SO on weekends i am just able to lurk around and not post.

I do post successful on other boards i belong to from that computer but this board does not respond. JUST seeing if anyone may offer suggestions.
OTHERWISE i guess i can only reply my friends on mon thru fri....

sorry I don't have any advice for you, but I will let you know that I have had different technical difficulties off and on with the website. Fortunately Craig has been able to resolve them all for me, and I don't have any current difficulties. I hope that you figure it out, but if you don't we will try to understand if your responses are a little delayed at times.

I will say when im on the other pc....i dont get a box like i am now that has the paper, feather pen and post reply it only comes up as a quick reply button that dont allow me to do anything. NOT sure if that helps
any! THERE is no post reply box there its odd.

When you are on the upstairs pc, click on log out, then sign back in.

Also I am moving this thread to the tech forum.

and still didnt work. THIS has only
been an issue since the recent changes and no problem move my thread...!

Hi, lisa,
If you have Windows, maybe Disk Cleanup will do the job.
I did have glitches here a couple of times when the site format changed, and after several tries doing other things without success, I cleaned up, and it worked. Ever since, if I find anything getting stuck, I run the cleanup first, and it's worked every time.

Bring up the program list, then go to Accessories-> System tool-> Disk Cleanup.
Run the menu--it may take several to over 10 mins, and a list comes up with what you can get rid of. Make sure the check on "Temp internet file" is on, and leave the others off, then proceed the cleanup.
You get a clean slate with your internet cookies and things--it's like keeping the address, but erasing the route on the map, so you can bring up the route anew.
When you access your favorite internet sites after running the cleanup, you'll notice that it takes longer for the pages to come up the first time, but that's because the previous records have been erased. The second time on, things should be back to before.

Can you post a screen dump of the issue you are experiencing - you say that you dont have a post reply button. Just trying to isolate exactly what your problem is. Like - do you have javascript enabled on your machine, are images showing?

OMG i think i fixed my posting trouble on my upstairs PC!!!!
I have the box to type in now!
SO...what i did for anyone else was went in my tools....internet
options and deleted all my cookies files....and cleared history.
I closed the site here and reopened and now i have a posting block
thanks everyone who was trying to help me with this problem
i no longer have to luck on my upstairs computer
thank heavens!
