Hi,
Can anyone tell me why I just get a grey box when I try to get into chat? Not sure if that's enough of an explanation.....

DO you have pop up blockers on?
of pshing blockers running????
im no expert but i had to allow it
to load...and do you have JAVA
to run it????

just suggestions....

YES i had to allow the site to get in the chat. GOOD LUCK!

I am told that there have been problems with the chat. There are two ways to enter the chat rooms:

as part of the page
as a floating window

both are options on the second layer of menus:
- usercp, faq, members list, calendar, Chat Room (drop down menu listing Enter, and Enter float).

It is possible that the float version can get blocked by popup blockers.

I have been able to use it with both ie7 and Firefox.

Please make sure that you have the latest version of java from java.com: Hot Games, Cool Apps.

If you still can't access it, note carefully what the issue is. It is possible that your antivirus software may be blocking access. Turn off all blockers, and antivirus/spam detectors, then try again. If this proves to be the reason, see if you can find the option to allow such java access in the blocker program.

Check your internet options on your browser.

In the advanced settings on ie7, there is a tick box for "Java (Sun) use JRE version number (1.5.0_09)" - the latest version
In Firefox, Tools, Options, Content, Enable Java

Please let me know if you still have issues

Mine was the Java version.

Come to think of it, I do remember getting an update notice a while back. At that time, I didn't have the time to do it, so I put it off for later, then forgot completely.
