fyffer, I've taken the liberty of moving your question here, I hope you won't mind.
I've had the same trouble before, and here's what I tried.
My OS is Windows XP. btw.
Programs->Accesories->System tool->Disk Cleanup.
Now, I can't say this will work for you, but it may be worth a try.

I also hope putting this question here will draw the attention of either T2DMan or Craig, so they can help you out, they are the tech geeks here.
