I've been gone a few days and returned to visit the site. I saw there was some kind of chat box at the top, but what I really noticed is that the site takes for ever to load! Wowsa!

I cleared my cache, and no other site is taking long to load, just this one (and that is whether I am reading or posting).
I am using Firefox and have Ad blocker and Flash killer enabled. (Has never caused any problems on this site or any other one before).

last night the site was real slow...I have a new computer and thought how can this be me glad to hear you are having issues also..hugsAnnie

Sometimes, the site is slow due to server problems. This does happen from time to time with other sites, too, actually, though not simultaneously because, obviously, different sites will use different servers. So, if only one site is slow and other sites don't seem to be having the same issues, you can chuck it up to server problems.
When this happens, try coming back a bit later--say 10, 15 minutes, as basically, the server is supposed to reboot automatically under certain conditions, and usually, it's better by then, but some times, the problem comes and goes for several hours. If it is really bad, I notify the tech gurus to have them reboot the server manually.
