How can i put into words all that you mean to me
You're the only one whose made my life to gleam
How can i describe you in just a word or two
It's something I'll never be able to do
You are my one and only bright shining star
And though you are in heaven, you don't seem all that far
How can i explain all that you mean
Except to say that you're more than a dream
How can i speak of all you can do
You've made my life pure, you've made my life true
You've helped me to see things that i've never seen
How can i put into words all that you mean
And if i should fall and make a new stain
I know that you'll help to make my life true
You'll pick me up when I'm feeling blue
How can i speak of all that you are
You're so much more than a bright shinning star
I watch in wonderment as you brighten my path
