Just to be called child
and hear your loving voice
that's all i ever need to know
to give my life some purpose
and as i close my eyes at night
and see all of your blessings
i feel that i am being ungrateful
to ask you for anything more
for if i had nothing, at least i'd know
that i had you to count on
and though possessions are nice to have
I'd much rather have you
so many of your children
don't even know you exsist
and for thier sould i am distressed
for knowing you is one of life's greatest blessings
