| WLS Mentor  |  in awe  isn't our creator wonderful? Roo and i went for an evening drive on Thursday, (it was so relaxing), as we were driving aound back roads i turned a corner that let us look directly at the sky and the descent of the sun. It was amazing. I'll try to explain, the sky was pinky, purple and there was this big fluffy white cloud and from behind the cloud rays of white from the sun were shooting upwards into the sky. Really words can't do justice to what we saw. We both agreed that we need to get a camera for these kinds of things. I can't tell you the feeling of awe, admiration and gratefulness i felt for our creator. It was one of the more amazing things that i've seen in nature that just makes me want to share with everybody that i am astounded by the things our creator creates.

| Super Moderator  | Sunrise and sunset is something special and beautiful, isn't it? Here, one of our New Year's custom is to watch the first sunrise of the year. There are various famous spots throughout the country for viewing that particular sunrise, either beaches, or hill and mountain tops. I did it a couple of times during my college days. There's a small mountain, more like a hill about an hour's train ride from here, that is one of the favorite spots for Tokyoites' sunrise watching. It is breathtaking, and somehow, the fact that it is the first sunrise of the year makes it feel like a cleansing. No wonder ancient people revered the sun. One of the most beautiful gifts from God.

| WLS Mentor | it is so cool that you all think that way. We had the cottage to ourselves this weekend. I always find the cottage a wonderful place to get back in touch with Him. Beautiful sunsets and risings, nature unfolding around you. The darkness and stillness of the night when all you can hear is crickets, frogs and treetoads. We watched a family of ducks swim back and forth in front of our dock this weekend. It was so cool. They do look like they are floating but the move pretty fast so those tiny little webbed feet must be working pretty hard. One of the ducks we saw had a baby duck on her back. It was so cute. Doc, that sounds like a neat idea. To start the new year wathcing the first sun rise. And the cottage would be a perfect place to view it. Gotta try to remember to do that this coming new year.

| WLS Mentor | He is so amazing. Sometimes we need to stop to "smell the flowers" but i love it when something like a sunset or the stillness of the lake first thing in the morning or late at night strike me dumb. It makes me realize just how awesome our creator is.

I looked to see the dates...they are all over a month ago!! i don't know how it made the Que.... Anyhow....possibly it was just because I needed to praise Him with you gals....tonight when Russ 'Bella and I were walking home....the sky was gorgeous...I absolutely am in awe when I look at the "paintings" of our Creator. I never wonder where my creativity came from...because He is my Father...and He is the ultimate Creator. The colors he chose for the sky tonight were unimaginable...unexplainable...uncomprehendable... Like HIM!! I love that He is sooo talented...and that He shares His creations with me - us each day in different ways....but, I esp. love when He paints a sky....or paints a field landscape with the beautiful disappearing sky. WOW....Awe....
