Default I went to church again this sunday

Again, I have never been a religious person. I mostly aknowledge that there is something out there calling the shots. I have been going to church though. I think I mentioned that Kaylas teacher's husband is the pastor. Small world. So i guess these people were brought into my life for a reason.
I tried to think of every excuse NOT to go today, including the snow - most of which had been plowed and or melted away by the time we were due to leave. We made it to the service in our Sunday best. Todays message was about having faith. It was powerful and moving. Aside from venting on here I am one who shows little to no emotion in "real life". I don't cry or outwardly express anger or frustration, but I have to admit there was not a dry eye in the house today, my 4 included
A lot of people are struggling right now, but for some reason we all KNOW it will be ok.
I think it is wonderful how I have found a place to go eventhough I have not been baptised or saved or whatever it's called - and we are welcome. Every Sunday it's as if we were never NOT there and I like that feeling - belonging.
So I should say while I know things happen for a reason, and that with a little faith all things work out, maybe I will have help staying calm this week and not feeling so anxious about my own situation. All I can do is try to be the best person I can be and maybe everything else will fall into place.
I dunno> I walked into church so depressed and I left today with such a sense of hope. Just wanted to share my experience today.

Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Kenya,
I am glad your experience today seems to have brought you some peace. I really need to get back into church myself. I keep telling myself that as soon as I can get enough of this weight off to wear some of the old dresses I have in my closet I will go.(I know its easy to make excuses thats just one of my most recent ones) I feel bad about not going sometimes but I do pray very often and I seem to get peace from it. Thanks for sharing your story. It has inspired me to quit making excuses and get my butt out of bed and go. Thanks again.

WOW! That is what it is about. Belonging, union, friendship, love. Sounds like you have found a great place of support. I myself am a Christian and without my God I 'm not sure where I would be or if I would be. Thanks for sharing your expierence with us today. It was encouraging. Be the best you can be, and by doing that you help others be their best as well.

It really does make you feel good to go to church. I was going on a weekly basis for a while but fell out of it again. I really need to get back into going. I just feel a peace when I get to go. Good for you ....hang in there ...

That was very moving, gave me goose bumps. I need to get myself and the family back into the routine of going.

Good for you Kenyar. It helps me tremendously to be involved in my church. Our church is an extended family for us. It's important to feel like you belong too. I'm happy for you.

Oh, and it's saved. (: Then Baptised (depending on the religion though.)
