 |  Prayers for my sister
My sister has been admitted into the hospital for the second time within a week. The last time she was there for about 4 days. They diagnosed her with nephrotic syndrom which is a secondary disease in response to a primary one. They found out that at the age of 30 she has focal segmental glomularsclerosis. Basically put her nephrons ( tubules that are in your kidneys that filter out the waste which then produces urine after they filter out the waste products and then you pee) are partially scared causing protein to dump into her blood which is causing severe edema and she is not able to eliminate her waste. Simply put, she has kidney failure. In her case it is idiopathic, meaning no underlying cause . The usual causes are diabetes mellitus,morbid obesity, or lupus. She is obese. She has 4 young children. Please pray for her recovery.
