|  God is making me through this
I am sure many of you do not know me but I have been here for almost 2 years. I have disappeared in recent months due to my relationship with BF. I was struggling to keep it together. There has been a lot of prayers and with God's will, I have moved out. I am now living on my own with my children. We were together for almost 6 years but after surgery things seemed to get worse instead of better. He is very jealous and controlling. I feel like I can now be me and such a since of relief. I credit all my strength to God. Believe it when you hear the saying "if He leads you to it, He will bring you through it".

Hi Shelly.
I think one of our very first conversations ever was about our relationships and the "contol" issue...I am sorry that it didnt work out for you, however i am happy for you for being strong enough to choose what is right for you. To live in a horrible situitation and be unhappy is the worst thing someone can do to themselves. By leaving you proved to yourself that you are worth better and that a person is only treated the way they allow someone to treat you. My thoughts and prayers are with you that your new life brings you happiness and the right person. I only hear good things about you always from Lisa and know what a good person you really are.

Thanks Lisa.... Yes I know we have had some pretty deep conversations about it and it was the best thing I could do for me and my kids. I give God all the credit for giving me the strength to do it. I couldn't have done it without him. He has kept me strong and continues to keep me strong.

Shelley, It sounds to me like you gave it your all. Now it is over. It is hard to let go of the memories and what could have been, BUT life has a way of taking us arounf twist and turns and all of sudden you're in a beautiful clearing and out of the mazes and griefs and then wonderful things happen. Look forward , not backward and you already have the best on your side. No not us here at the forum  . God. I truly believe in the power of prayer. I know it's been really difficult for you over the last year....and I'm sure that you have been praying thru all your decisions.
I was thinking of you - I've been reading this book called Captivating: Unveiling the Mystery of a Woman's Soul . we are on Chapter 11 "Warrior Princess"....what I find true is - We are Women Warriors and we are strong and we are also tender. There is mercy, vulnerability...that can only be found in a strong woman who are rooted in God who knows who you are.
Wow, I've LOVED this CHAPTER!! There is a mighty fierceness set in our hearts by God...wow, and that this fierceness is true to who we are and what we are created to do.
I'm proud of you...it's a hard thing you just did....but I know when you walk in the face of adversity...God will "cover you"....and amaze you with the miracles he will produce in your life!
Here is my favorite verse...:
"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." ~Eph. 3:20-21

Thank you all for such wonderful support. I am doing very well actually. I am surprised how strong I have been and continue to be. I know this was the best thing I could have done for my children and myself. I am struggling with bills and getting on my feet but I know we will make it just fine.
