The Storm

I heard the thunder loong ago
but i didn't listen I didn't want to know
Then the lightening came and i closed my eyes
So that i couldn't see the truth from all my lies
And i blocked my ears I didn't want to hear
But I couldn't ignore it, that soon was clear
The time had come and I had to choose
I could win or I could loose

The the storm rolled in and I was lost
Frozen within uncaring frost
But there was a warmth so deepinside
It began to melt the roaring tide
It whispered to me so quietly
Opened my eyes I began to see
Spoke so softly yet I could still hear
Told me that He would always be near

A gentle rain fell on my soul
I began to listen I wanted to know
So gently did He guide me through
He turned my life around, made me knew
The storm is over, no decisions are left
And even though I've a long way to go
I know that from now on I can be
Everything that He expects in me

great job yet once again. I will miss reading your inspirations while I am in recovery.

I can't wait to be home, feeling better, and able to post again. You guys are all great and I will miss you all.
