How Big is Your God?
Are you acquainted with this awesome God who wants you to know Him intimately? Think about the wondrous things He has done beginning with the beauty of the earth. Hear the sounds of heaven released in the nighttime as the creatures of the earth make a symphony to the Lord. Who is like our God? Consider the bright light of a full moon as it shines through the oak trees creating playful shadows; twinkling stars announcing that our God rides on the wings of the wind. Hush, don’t you hear them singing the song of the Lord? Yet you and I sing a song that they cannot sing – the song of the redeemed! Isn’t you heart overwhelmed with the awesomeness of God? Just think the Creator is your God, your Lord, and your Savior! There is none who can compare to Him. He is a big God, yet He is small enough to live within your heart, even the heart of a child. Who is like unto our God?

PRAYER:
Who among the gods is like you, O Lord? Who is like you--majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders? Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, or with the breadth of his hand marked off the heavens? Who has held the dust of the earth in a basket, or weighed the mountains on the scales and the hills in a balance? You are magnificence, a big God, yet you have taken your place in my heart. You abide in me and I abide in You. Your righteousness reaches to the skies, O God. You have done great things. Who, O God, is like unto you? You are my Lord and Savior, Creator of the heavens and earth. You are a big God – more than enough to help me in any situation. Oh, my God – you went before me and prepared the pathway that I am to walk. I love you with my whole heart, soul and mind. Amen

God is Big - his understanding is more than we can comprehend. As Christians we can seek to figure out small parts of things, but those that don't know God can certainly struggle even more. I love the science of creation, and trying to figure out how God could have done it all in the time sequence of Genesis 6 literal days. Our minds are so small, our amazing science is so small compared to the vastness of God. I like trying to understand Revelation. Emphasis on the "trying". But it sure is fun.

I have read through most of the books of the Left Behind Series several years ago, and just got given two of another related series - Left Behind:Apocalypse. War stories based in the end times. Read two books this weekend of a 4 book series...

Whenever the Rapture will occur, it will sure bring crazyness to the earth. We have a God so big, with knowledge so wide. When he happens to take all the Christians from the earth many will question "Why not me, I am a good person". When/if children are taken at the same time, people will grieve that their children have been taken, and curse God that God can't be a fair God if he takes away children from people.

Yet in rapturing people from the tribulation period he will be saving people from lots of the hardship that will go on. If the children go as well, then he will be saving them in their innocence as well.

God's knowledge and plans are way above ours. It does not stop me trying to understand them in part. I will of course get things wrong in my interpretation, but my bottom line is that God, the creator of the Universe love me personally and intimately, that someone so vast and powerful is also so interested in me.

If only more people would be able to tune into God's wavelength.

So very true and I like your 'tune into God's wavelength' people can. It is all about reading His word and spending time with him in prayer. the closer we move our lives to living how His word has guided us the more open that channel is for uploading and downloading! I love it. Your post was awesome.
