Less than 24 hours before surgery, and I realize that none of this would be possible without the infinite wisdom and love of my Lord Jesus Christ. He reached down His hand to help me up whenever I fell, and everything I have experienced in this journey is because it was His will for my life. I would be nothing without Him, and even though today I am frightened of what's still to come, I know His love and protection will not fail me. Everything that I am, and will be, is because of His unconditional love and never-ending grace. Thank you, God!!!!!

You are absolutely right. All good things come for our Lord and Saviour.
I know the fear of the unknown and this surgery. I posted many scriptures around my hospital room that day. Or should I say had some do it.
2 Timothy 1:7, Isaiah 26:3, John 14:27 are some of them but my favorite and the one I read continually that day was Isaiah 41:13 "For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee." And help me He did. He is what keeps me going in all things but especially this new way of life. Thank you for your witness and my prayers will be with you tomorrow. God Bless and keep you.

And in the previous chapter of Isaiah (40:31) it talks about your recovery from surgery and the new life awaiting you. You might call this "the WLS Promise!!" "31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
How many here have experienced such a rebirth? We see posts about this all the time!! I know I did, and Peanut did after her surgery, too!
There is a wonderful future just waiting for you to claim it. That's what tomorrow is all about for you!! Then look out kids!! Grandma's taking you to the amusement park for some serious ride fun!!
