my grammie has been sick for the last 6 months, but has gotten worse in the last 2-3 weeks she is 85, has raised 6 kids, unfortunately buried my birth father last october, my sister and i were adopted by our aunt and uncle when i was 3 and my sister was 4 years old. grammie and grampie raised us for 3 years, and then our aunt and uncle adopted us. my birth father wayne, had a massive heart attack and died last year. Grammie has 10 grand kids and 8 great grand kids she has been in the hospital for almost 3 weeks now, and they are moving her into pallative care tomorrow, so it could be any day now its been really hard on me, as i had to make a decision as to go ahead with surgery in 3 weeks or wait until she passes away, she lives far away, and i've decided to go ahead with the date, and hopefully i am doing the right thing.

I'm sorry to hear about your grammie and the sorrow your going through. Like others have said... I bet her wishes would be that you get healthy so you can live the long life that she has. Losing my mom recently at first left me feeling a bit guilty for not having seen her in awhile because of just having surgery.... But I can now look back and see that she was happy that I was getting healthy. I will be keeping you in my prayers. Hugs
