Hello Everyone,

I just want to let you know that our church will be having a 24 hour prayer meeting at our church this coming Saturday. We begin at 10 on Saturday morning and go until 10 Sunday morning. This prayer meeting is held so that we can take request from people such as yourselves. We ask everyone who we come in contact with for the week if they have anything they need prayer for. Like maybe they are having problems in their marriage. Today I talk to the teck that did my ultrasound and she had an cousin who just found out he has brain cancer and given one year to live he is only 42.
We ask for first names only and only the problem. We do not have to have any more info than that becasue God already knows about their lives. But we do this about every 3 months. Once we get everyones request turned in we then put them all on our church alter and then all during the 24 hours we have teams that come in every 2 hours and pray over every request. So please if you have a request and would like to put it here or send me an email at psalmistmckee@hotmail.com I will write them down and we will pray over them all day on Saturday. Please pray for us as we pray for those who have needs. There are so many people hurting in the world today and we want to do our part and try to at least pray for them. So please post your request or mail me now so I can get my list prepared for Saturday.

I do have a prayer request. This little girl who is the daughter of my next door neighbor growing up has bone cancer. Her name is Kassidy She is just 12. You can see the web site for you self and see the fight this child has put up so far.
Kassidy's Page If you click on the link samefight.org you will see that we have another child who is in need of prayers. His name is Chance. Hes 3 years old with Brain cancer. This will show you how our small community bands together in a time of need to help the families out. We lost the other 3 year old in Feb for Brain cancer to. His name was Joshua.

MsVickie I have placed these request on the prayer list and prayer will go up all day Saturday for 24 hours I also ask for prayer for the young one that died for his family. I know they are still needing it. Thanks for your response on this matter. WE take it very serious and we believe for great things to happen. God Bless my friend.

Exhorter how wonderful that you and your church are doing this. I have a few names I would like lifted up please:

Adam for his safe return from Iraq
Rene his mom for strangth till he comes home
My sister Sarah as she is being Ordained in two weeks
Melissa my daughter as she graduates this on the 2nd
Tony for his continued sobriaty
and finally me Anna as I go through this process

Susan & Her 2 boys Matt & Tim - Her husband just died of cancer
And Me (Mattie) as I prepare and go through surgery on June 25.

Thanks so much for the request. But keep them coming I will keep writing them down until I go to bed tonight and then check again on the way out the door in the morning.
I have been swamped with request from here and the OH -DS board. I was not to sure if I should put it on the boards because some people get offended and this is a weight surgery board but the thing I love about this forum is that there is a place to talk about God. I always feel I can place things here. Thanks for feeling safe enough to trust us with your love ones and friends. I promise we will pray our hearts out for them all. God Bless
