Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass    |  What blessings indeed... I'd been bummed out over a knock down I'd had in a job hiring process due to something from 6.5 yrs! ago with an ex.. But! for once I had the immediate reaction that if God had allowed me to get so far in that hiring process to get knocked off that track there was a reason. I prayed to just be faithful and keep believing that God would put me where I needed to be. Over the weekend at my new part time job my supervisor asked me if I was wanting to work full time or keep the part time status (are you kiddin' me! oh yeah!!) Yes and I told him that would be a huge answer to prayer for me. The new fiscal year at the hospital started july 1st so it opened up a full time position & he and the big boss made it work. 3rd shift, I can keep the w-ends if I want with that extra differential--woohoo! AND benefits that start from day one on full time status!! It also puts me in the position of being able to start the prayerful process of making a decision to leave my other part time job with PD. I'd like to keep the 2 yrs mark which is in december for me. But classes start up again in the end of august and I've got to work hard to get done with this school stuff! God has shown me so much mercy and love these past few months in my decision to leave a job in a field I have a calling for, but the harrassment I experienced really put me off of ever wanting to work in it again. He's also made a strong statement of where he wants me to be, which field that is! ---don't give up God truly IS there and shows us the way HE wants us to go ...Into the arms of mercy and a loving environment. wow, you know? ---bree

| Super Moderator  | ((((((HUGS))))))) Yes, there's always a seed of good in the bad, just as there's a seed of bad in even the best. What we need to do is to develop an eye for these seeds. We can control what choice we make, but what comes out of the choice, we often can't control. It's hard to accept that, but doing our best in a situation that's not under our control is quite often what brings out the best in us, and leads us to a higher plane. And I always believe that that's what God's looking for in us. Congrats on your job, Bree, wishing you the best.
