Default ANother something to think about.

From Joel Olsteen

Do you ever struggle to completely follow God, but sometimes feel like you're fighting against yourself? Paul understood, because he wanted to do what he knew was right, but he often ended up doing the very thing he resisted. You know that when you break God's spiritual law, there are going to be consequences; but what about breaking God's physical laws? When you don't take care of your body, God is not glorified and you can expect things to be more challenging than you'd like. God has set out laws and rules for your own good, because He wants you to be healthy and strong in every aspect of you life. If you will follow His instructions, you will receive the blessing that follows your obedience.

I hope everyone is doing well , you are always all in my thoughts and prayers even when i dont have time to post. Love you guys.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

That's interesting. As a Christian, I try to do the right thing as much as possible. Sometimes those questions as to right vs wrong aren't so obvious. I have been praying for strength, courage and peace. For a large part, I have been comforted and have a good amount of peace over my surgery ON TUESDAY. Cold feet? It's not that I dont want the surgery - it's just that I'm nervous about having surgery. Am I not truly giving it to God? Do I keep taking it back? Is Satan just attacking me at my most vulnerable moment? Joshua 1:9 has been a big plus. Someone at work posted a devotional that has it listed. It states "Perhaps one definition of courage might be staying strong and moving forward, even when most would give up and even surrender their ground to fear ... do not allow yourself to be defeated by fear or the unknown." I feel like God is reaching out to me to reassure me, as in the post above, yet I just can't shake how I feel. I know pre=op gitters are normal and I even called my surgeons office yesterday to be sure all was well, I guess I'm just a scaredy cat! I'm so thankful you all are there. I enjoy your posts so much and even when there are problems or complications, it helps to know others have been there and are ready to lend a hand in emotional support and prayers! Any advice appreciated!

This is from a previous post just want to say it again.

For all of you due to have surgery...found this for you.

A PRAYER FOR THE PATIENT
FACING SURGERY

O God, the source of all health.
Fill my heart with faith.
Be near me in times of weakness and pain. Although I know You are in control, I am apprehensive about what faces me. You made me, loved me, and have provided my surgeon with needed skill to perform a miracle in my behalf. Sustain me by Your grace that my strength and courage may not fail; Heal me according to Your will.
Amen.
