Default impatient

I know that it's gonna happen and that it will happen in God's time but i am getting sooooo impatient with the whole process of getting to that surgery. I know that all of the consults and tests are for safety but i can't help feeling it's long enough already. I don't usually ask this of others but please pray with me that i may have the patience to wait out the time without breaking down on anyone, without taking my frustration out on others? God has brought me this far and he will get me there and through but every once in a while i get this itchy get on with it feeling. I know i shouldn't think that but i do. On the other hand however i have to thank
God for getting me to find this site and all of the wonderful people here. You are all so great and i count you in my blessings everyday. Thanks guys.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I'm right there with you .. waiting for my turn as well! And it's only been one month getting everything done. We're sending all the paperwork to the insurance company this week .. so my waiting period is just beginning! But I know exactly how you feel. This is going to be such a big year for me .. I'm getting a new job, a new grandchild and a new ME! But I haven't started the job yet, the baby won't be here until October and I don't have a surgery date yet ... and I'm just so impatient sometimes I can't even sit still. But I agree that the most important thing is God's perfect timing and so .. I'll keep you in my prayers and ask you to keep me in yours .. and soon we'll both be doing the "Happy Dance" (with no jiggles! LOL!)

I hate to dissapoint you, but I think I got more antsy once I had my date scheduled. It is funny that with how anxious I was that once the day was here, I felt so unprepared and like all the time had slipped away....lol. If my neurotic mind can make it through the waiting, then you will do just fine. Try to work out some of the jitters and motivate yourself by going pre-clothes shopping. Start getting an idea of what styles you would like to see yourself in and finding out who carries them and how much they cost. Start working out and getting familiar with a routine. Buy baby spoons and chopsticks. As cheesy as it may sound it really helps. And best of all keep checking in with us and let us help you. You three waiting are really awesome and you have a lot of people praying for you and wishing you the best. Best of luck.

Oh .. I have already started doing that! I watch people and think, "Soon I'll be about that size .. and I like what she has on! I'd look good in that!" And I bought a sippy cup yesterday (my cabinet is full of them for the grandsons .. but they're all red & blue, and have cars, balls, etc. on them.) This one's just for me ... it has a purple top and pink & purple butterflies on it. When I showed it to hubby, he just looked at me like I was out of my ever-lovin' mind!

my husband looks at me that way often so I am glad to not be alone anymore. LOL I didn't think to get a sippy cup, I just use my used water bottles. I love butterflies so I think you made a good choice there. Just remember before you know it, (although it doesn't seem that way now) you will look like them, only in your own special way.

Thanks guys you are all so encouraging, i too have been preparing for surgery and after. Baby spoon, baby fork small plate, water water water. I've found a protien bar that rocks. (chocolate mint) yummy. I want to buy a box now but i d just eat them all before the surgery. I found a protien shake that i like (not as much as the bar though) i've been trying to remember to chew chew chew, having a hard time with that one. never thought of chop sticks or a sippy cup but they sound like good ideas so i'll probably be going out in the next day or two for those. So for those who are waiting as i am, here's hoping well hear soon. I'm keeping everybody in my prayers, thoughs who are post op for good weight loss and health
and those of us that are pre-op for quick processing and health and patience. thanks guys
