| Prayers For A Member
There is a member who doesnt post who is very ill. She has had problems with strictures, nausea, depression. She has been VERY down in the dumps lately. I wont say her name because she hasnt felt comfy posting just yet, but she has reached out to me and a few others here via pm and instant message to ask questions etc.
I just wanted to ask that everyone keep her in their thoughts prayers. I think the depression is getting to her more than her illness. We all know what it takes mentally to be able to get thru this, especially early out. To have complications and well as the emotional "stuff" is hard as we have seen from Boots' posts. so please join me in praying for her strength and courage through this very difficult time.
(Boots, thank you for reaching out to share your experience with her. I am sure she is truly grateful.)

Thanks for the heads up Kenyar.
Keeping her in my prayers, and sending her (((((HUGS))))))
Now, I hope she is getting whatever professional help and support she needs from the pros, not just her surgeon and his staff. There often is a stage during this journey that psych help can do a lot to make the journey easier, and to put a lot of things into perspective.

i feel really bad. i spoke with her daughter briefly this morning and she asked that i pray so i thought added prayers and good vibes couldnt hurt i really hope that things get better sooner for her.
i too wish she would post but i dont like to press it. there are quite a few members here who have contacted me with questions or comments who wont post. if you ever notice the # of views vs. the actual replies next to each thread you'll see there are quite a few people viewing as opposed to posting replies. just reading is ok, but i wish we could all be as comfortable as the rest of us are. you never know how many other people are going thru the same thing unless its brought up.
none the less, i dont mind sharing. i hope it helps someone, ANYONE...or at the very least makes someone smile who hasnt in a while

My thoughts and prayers go out to you that this journey gets easier for you. I am so sorry you are dealing with this. Please know you are not alone. I have been on this journey for 2 years now and while i have been lucky and have not had major complications, i have made many friends who have very serious complications. One in particular who refuses to give up. She has had numerous surgeries following her bypass, has been in the hospital more times than i can remember, is now using a feeding tube to get her nutrition in and it goes on and on. SHe is a dear friend to me and through it all has been such a trooper. It is not easy but as she says it is what it is and she makes the best of it. Please keep your head up. If necessary seek professional help for the depression. There are ways to help that. It is great that you have reached out to memebers of this board. It is really a special place.
Positive thoughts going your way.

darn those strictures and the ensuing dehydration..it makes you fall down hard into depression..
{{hugs & prayers}}
I feel for her, been there and I know it is rough to get through it and just know there IS and end to it, eventually you come out the other side and it's all okay.
