Just re-reading this post...now it's been 11 days since your surgery....How are you feeling...how much was your first week loss??

I only took a couple of weeks and I was back to work. I was feeling really good after the first week, but then had an asthma attack and pulled some of my sugery muscles. Ended up having an enlarged spleen a little longer than planned. Even with that, however I was still ready for week by the next week.

Let me know how it goes for you.

I start back on Monday and can't wait. I have a wonderful job (most days) and I like the people I work with.

I'm sooo glad you are excited!!! But don't OVER-DO it...ok??? Take it easy...you did just have MAJOR surgery!!

OH I don't hve a choice about taking it easy. Cause if I could be I would be back at work this week. But they said nope not till Monday at the earliest because of the note they got from my doctor. They have also informed me that If I don't want to work full days I can work half or whatever I feel up too. They are so good to me. The wonderful thing about my job is that I'm not always stuck in my office, I get to get out and show houses and do some other things. However my office is on the 2nd floor so that might be rough at first, but great exercise through out the day...lol
But I promise I have plenty of people watching me to make sure I don't over do it!!!

You work in real estate? Showing houses to people must be fun when your clients are great people.
As for going up and down the stairs, the 20 some lbs that you've already lost is probably going to make a big difference already.
Have fun when you go back to work, but yes, be careful not to over do it!

Actually its property management, its all rentals. Its fun moving people in they are so happy to be getting a house, and the people moving our are happy to be leaving but get kinda upset if you charge for damages..lol

I think that real estate would be fun to work in also. I really liked looking at houses when we bought ours.
