I also choose to have RNY, becasue I needed to have control on my eating and it sure keep me in line with my eating. It sure works for me, but you have to decide what is good for you. It sounds like you have reseached it well. My daughter had the RNY surgery almost a year earlier than I did and I saw the results she had and that made up my mind to go with the RNY surgery. I am very happy with the surgery and have not had any complicatons and nor has my daughter.
