I wasn't sure which area to post this in, so move if necessary. This article was in Yahoo news this morning. I guess I was interested as my surgeon has tlaked our local paper into doing a series of articles on my journey. But what really got my blood boiling is the absolute ignorance of the comments. My God, when did we become so full of hate in this world? I wish I could answer each of these people, but I can't feed and justify their hatred.

People are cruel and mean spirited in their comments because they CAN be. Easiest thing to do is shoot off your big mouth and ideas in a forum where you can be annonymous. For most of us, this surgery is a blessing and the best tool out there. No, it doesn't cure the "head" part of this game, but it sure is a nice start of figuring out the puzzle.

I saw this article and saw some of the ugly comments which were totally unnecessary and cruel. I commend you for losing so much weight and if a person has not had a weight problem it is easy for them to sit back and judge others and make nasty remarks. Congrads on your weight loss!!
