Of course thank you for your comment decker 1976, and yes, HotSmarts are much more user friendly They were designed simply to bring the luxury of eating on hot plates at home on a daily regular basis without complications or handling problems.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I was thinking the same thing, Kim. lol

I am keeping this in the back of my head, though. I know of some times in my life where friends/family members could have used something like this, in other post-surgical, cancer, and hospice care, for example.

I think I might still get one because I hate to eat cold food. This is a great idea.

The plates were designed simply to enjoy hot food; I found out they could be useful for WLS patients when a lady from a WLS SUPPORT GROUP e- mailed me

I ordered mine this afternoon! Grandma might share it with her grandson when he is old enough to eat food....
Looking forward to getting it.

Actually I have been using my prototypes for about 3 years now. A plate that remains hot for 30 min plus with only one minute preheating is hard to believe. The plate reaches maximum temperature 5 to 8 minutes AFTER taking it out of the microwave oven to avoid overcooking or overheating the food. If you preheat a regular plate it will be cold after 5 minutes along with the food.
