Default Multi Vitamin question

Do you know if and when we can take non chewable vitamins? I know we want the chewable to help with absorption - just wondering if I have to take chewable. I hate the grit but will do it!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I went to see my surgeon at three months out... at that point, he said it was okay to take a regular (non-chewable) multivitamin.

I still take the chewable, but Flintsones makes a gummy chewable, NO GRIT!

Gosh, I love my Flinstone's! I'll probably do them forever! I hate taking even my tiny pills now because they feel like they get stuck or the amount of fluid I use to get them down hurts my pouch. And the multi vit's can be huge!!! But if you call your doc's office, I'm sure they'll have a good answer.

I use liquid vitamins, as they begin working in the body quicker. Mine has lots of antioxidants also. I'll include a link to my liquid vitamins. I use these as I hate chewable vitamins, and dislike swallowing pills even more. I also use a powdered calcium citrate--brand name NOW, available online or at health food stores. Cost is about $7 for 8 oz, one level tsp is 700mg of calcium citrate. DAVE

what do you mix the powdered stuff with? I use only the flintstone type chewables still and use the lemon cream calcium citrate. I see the surgeon on the 18th so will check out what I can take. I do swallow the colace pills and ambien whole now tho.

I'm still on the bariatric advantage, and they have a new multi flavor called Berry...I'm addicted to these things...to me, they taste like sweet tarts!! I only do 2 a day, but I don't mind them at all!

Default calcium and vitamins

I mix the calcium citrate powder with oatmeal in the AM, and with a shake or other liquid medium foods later in the day. I forgot to include the vitamin link, Bariatric Liquid Vitamins and Minerals . This is a 10-in one formula, vitamins, antioxidants, joint health, etc. All Kosher ingredients, no sugar, no calories, and no carbs. Sorry my post was not complete yesterday. DAVE
