Default Protein Supplementation

I know there are lots of threads on protein, but with 3 kids I don't have time to search through them all so please bare with me and I'm sorry if this has already been asked and answered.

Has anyone tried the New Whey protein viles? My nurse recommended these for after surgery until I can get enough protein in otherwise. My doctor recommends 60 to 80 grams of protein and each vile has 42 grams in 3 oz. To me it sounds great, especially knowing I wouldn't have to drink the protein drinks.

If you have tried them, can you please tell me what your favorite flavor is? They are between $30 and $40 for 12 viles and I just don't want to get something I may regret. I know our tastes are all different, but I figured I would try the majority.

Thanks in advance!!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Your body doesnt really absorb that much protein at one time, I don't think, I'm sure someone will be on soon to comment. I only used the EAS from Walmart which had 23g of protein, add that to the 9g in 1 cup skim milk and you've got 32g of pretty good chocolatey protein.

No You Body Cannot Absorb That Much Protein In One Hr So You Should Only Drink Half Each Hr. I Personally Thought They Were Putrude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I Have Drank What Clancy Drinks And I Also Drink Achiev One Protein Drinks. God They Are So Good And Alot Of People On Here Drink Them. They Are Like Ice Cold Coffee Drinks In Different Flavors And Have 20 Grams Of Protein.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. She told me I could drink half of 1 at a time, but to do so 3 x a day. So, in reality I'd only be getting 21 grams of protein at a time.

I may have to try the EAS from walmart. I am choking stuff down now as I am trying them out trying to find one that works best for me. Thank you for the added options!

I truly appreciate all the help I am receiving on this forum!

i never tried the bullets. i liked the shakes. they were staisfying early out. i did unjury and eas and some atkins ready to drink ones. i dont do them much now...probably should though. good luck finding something that suits your pallet. my tastes changed frequently. it was frustrating. i still have most of what i bought over the past 6 months...

I am with Kenya on this. Very early out, I used the same shots that Edie did, but then went to the Unjury and later the Vanilla Eas and added any flavors to it that I was into at that time. Good Luck on finding something that you like, that was difficult for when when it came to the bullets!
