Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  Had my 9 Month appt today...early Ok, so this morning was my 9 month appt (about a week early) and blood work follow up. Everything came back just fine, except my b-12 was a lil low. He wants me to go to see my PCP and get a TOTAL blood work up which includes my Cholestral and to get a bone density scan (which they are research now to make a permanet part of their work up). On a great note, he informed me that most patients at a year will have lost 60-75% of their excess weight and that I am ahead of the game since I am at about 60% already at not quite 9 months! Man that felt so good to hear!!!! What a wonderful day! ALSO, I talked to him about the whole bridesmaid dress and he said the exact same thing...that I should go down 2 sizes now and cross my fingers that I dont exceed 4! LOLOLOLOL |
