I shudder everytime I have to eat the 2 gigantic TwinLab calcium citrate "wafers" ICK! Is there any kind of not chalky calcium out there?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

You can find the creamy type bites (if they are still around). That is what I used right after surgery until I could swallow a pill. I think I got them from drugstore.com
Nature Made also make a new line of Liquid soft gels...they are huge, but you can open them up and put them in something. Good Luck.

I did the citracal creamy bites but they arent as tasty as the Viactive caramels which, unfortunately are calcium carbonate, not citrate!!! And why do they make the stupid things so big??? Even the petites are very thick. Go figure...... If I had a vitamin factory, I'd fix this problem......

I have been using baratric advantedge since the word go...they have one that is wild cherry....it tastes like sweet tarts to me...it is chewable, but specifically formulated for us. I also use their multi vitamin in the wild berry flavor....2 of each every morning and I'm set! (the multi does not have iron that would interfere with the calcium absorption). All of my labs have been STELLAR using these products (and no, I don't work for them...WISH I DID!!)heck..MAYBE I SHOULD!!!

I cannot stand bariatric advantage. It is chalky and dry and icky. If you order it, get the smallest quantity, to check it out. I do, however, stomach well the iron supplement. Go figure. (TrulyKath...BA is a "local" place here (<150 miles, in Irvine) and the CEO comes to our support group about 4 times/year to talk and give free samples.)
Some vitamin stores sell liquid calcium citrate, in different flavors.

Others on this board order powder cal.cit. and mix it with what-have-you.

I am convinced my anastomosis (opening) from my pouch is large. I can pass, without a problem, a Citrical petite. I take 3 or 4 of them, about 15 minutes apart. I can also take regular Tylenol tabs. I refuse, however, to take the standard multivitamin "horse pill".

I Use The Citracal Chews The Caramel Is Like Candy, Lemon Is Ok, They Are A Bit On The Pricey Side... I Got Them At Rite Aid, But They Are No Longer Carry Them, So Ai Brought The Empty Package To Cvs ( My Regular Pharmacy) & They Ordered Some For Me...
I'm Not One To Order Online So This Worked Out Great!!!!

Hope You Find A Happy Medium!!!

Oh wow...I like the idea of a soft chew. I had some of the sugar free ones a long time ago and they were great but also just cal carbonate. I couldn't find citrical ones here. I think I'll try on line. The cherry "sweet tarts" sound pretty good too! Thanks guys
