I searched for this and got no hits. My nut put me on these vitamins and so far I like them. One month's supply is $25. They are designed to be a complete vitamin so you don't have to take others with it. Bariatric Fusion - Post gastric bypass surgery nutrition created by a bariatric surgery team.

Hi - I am currently looking for vitamins - I'm about 3.5 weeks out, and am having trouble with the regular Centrum I have been taking - just can't handle the horse pills. I saw the Bariatric Fusion ones on iBariatric.com. The Orange Cream sounded mighty tasty! My surgeon has not given me specific instructions on vitamins, more like take a multi, take 1500 mg calcium citrate, take 1000mcg B12. That's it, so now I'm struggling trying to figure out what to order.
I realize this thread is kindof old, but could you give me an update on how satisfied you are with these vitamins. Which flavor did you order? Have you found a price better than $25 per month?
Thanks so much! Hope your journey is going well.
Jody

Sure, and hi! I'm still on them and they're working fine for me. My last labs showed me still low in iron but I've been anemic my entire life. Otherwise, everything else checks out fine. They have a new flavor, strawberry I'm going to try next. My last visit at my surgeon's office the doc asked me if I was taking these vitamins and I said yes. And his response was "that's the one we want you on."

Until I could take the horse pills, I chewed two kids chewable vitamins/day. And I cut my calcium into tic/tac size pills.

Thank you CatScratch & JudiJo for your replies, I'm still struggling with this vitamin thing. I did order the BariatricFusion, in both Orange Cream and Berry. To be honest, I can't stand the berry AT ALL, and the orange cream, while tollerable, I have yet to get 4 of them down in a day. They just leave so much iron aftertaste, it really bothers me.
I tried one of the Bariatric Advantage Calcium in mint, and thought it wasn't tooooo bad, and I could actually convince myself it was a mint if it weren't so chalky, so I think I am going to order some of these to "subsidize" BariatricFusion on the calcium. I have a history of MANY broken bones, so many you'd probably laugh, so the calcium is a huge concern for me. My iron levels have always been naturally high, thankfully, and I'm hoping that continues.
If you order the strawberry, let me know how you like them. I asked for samples when I placed my order, but they didn't send any. (Which kinda miffed me!) Ah well....

| regarding the bariatric advantage calcium citrate = it is very chalky, in fact for a few months after surgery i wasn't taking it regularly because i just couldn't stand that part of it. (i have always had the chocolate ones) i now take one of their new fudge soft chews a day. they are higher in carbs than the regular calcium citrate chewables, but are certainly quite tasty. and i take two centrum calcium citrate petites a day.

Joanne - Centrum Calcium Citrate Petites? Where did you find these? I can swallow my normal pills, and the capsule I take for the gall bladder is pretty good sized, but doesn't give me any trouble. I had trouble breaking up my big calcium citrates because the rough edges made them too hard to swallow. Petites sound perfect! Do share.... but I'm off to google it now!

| The search continues....
OK, I went straight to my local Walgreens.... and couldn't find the Centrum cal cit petites, but I did find Citracal Calcium Citrate w/D Petites. Got them home... swallowed one down... and UGH... majorly stuck. I 3 or 4 times before I could get that horse pill out of the way. While it's a different shape (wider and shorter) than regular calcium tabs, I certainly wouldn't consider them petite! I guess I'll keep hunting for the Centrum ones.
I just don't know what I'm gonna do.... this is frustrating! I called my surgeon's office to ask about the Bariatric Advantage calcium..... I have to buy a 3-month supply for $45.... I don't WANT a 3-month supply right now... I want a small quantity so that I can give them a trial run. Arghghgh....
