Smile The best tasting protein bar

Today after work I went to GNC to find a protein bar. I told the guy " I want a low sugar, low carb protein bar that doesn't taste like crap" He laughed and gave me a Nitrotech hardcore protein bar which had 270cal,5g fat,1g sugar and 30g protein. The flanor is s'more sensation. OMG this was the best tasting bar I have ever had. Just thought I would share....

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Going to buy one tomorrow. I'm going to use it as a meal replacement. I can eat half bar at a sitting so that's 135 cal & 15 g protein for an entire meal. Not bad. Thanks for sharing.

270kcals with 30g protein, 5g fat, 1g sugar, hmmmm?
Okay, 30g protein=120ckals, 5g fat=45kcals, 1g sugar=4 kcals. That accounts for 169kcal out of the 270 kcals. So, where does the remaning 101 kcals come from? Better check if that isn't from carbs other than sugar itself--101 kcals equal 25g carbs.
To be honset, 270kcals is too high for a protein bar, even if it has lots of protein.

I am using it as a meal replacement. It is not too far off from my protein drinks that I have 3 times a day. I am just tired of drinking my protein and wanted something different. Thanks Doc for pointing out where are the other calories coming from? I will write what it says on the package....I just noticed there is 32g of carbs in 1 bar! WHOA that is way too many carbs. Glad I posted about the bar I wouldn't have paid attention. That is why it tasted so good. I am a carb addict LOL! should have recognized it. I'll only use it as an occasional piece here and there kind of bar. YOU GUYS SAVED ME. I would have been wondering why I was gaining weight. I should have known if it tastes good=not good for you LOL!
