Default Vitamin requirements

I was instructed my the bariatric center where I will be having my surgery that I will need to take these vitamins:

Multivitamin
Calcium Citrate
Iron
Zinc
Biotin
Folic Acid
Vitamin D
Vitamin B12
Magnesium

was wondering if you all could shead some light on the dosages and the best time to take these supplements. Are there liquid forms? Are some better than others to digest and easier to swallow?

I was told to take one vitamin every 20 minutes. Some of these vitamins are HUGE....should I break them in half?

Any help would be appreciated

Thank you,
Valerie***

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I take B12 in the form of a nasal spray : Welcome to Nascobal - A QOL Medical Company

the e store on this site has great bariatric products that have

Check out Bariatrics Advantage Mutiform Chew from our eStore. I have linked in the product info page.
When you take a close look at the label, you will be able to see that you can get the majority of what you are required.
Bariatrics Advantage has a starter kit that should fulfil the requirements of your surgeon.

Goodmorning.

Each doc has there own requirements and alot of what you will need to take post op will depend on how your blood levels are when monitored. Most will have you on at least a mulitivitamin and calcium and the minimum. One more that alot of docs require is iron. Iron stores deplete pretty fast and are very hard to get back up once they do. B12 is another common one very importatnt to maintain. Most of what they will have you take will again depend on how your levels are maintained post op.

Personally i take Viactive Multivitam twice a day chocolate
Citrical chewable calcium citrate chocolate mint, lemon or caramel flavored
Iron
B12 sublingual.

That is what was required of me. Good luck.
