Default How many tolerate milk?

Hi everyone, was wondering how many drink milk or have milk in like cereal? What kind of milk? I love cereal but rarely ever have it as it makes me sick. I do pretty well with a little bit of low carb milk. Anyone else tried other milks that tasted good and were easy on their stomach?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I just use regular skim milk! I feel very fortunate that I have not found any food that disagrees with my new stomach! I was very suprised, and really thought that I might be lactose intolerant post op, like so many are, but not me, guess I have a "stomach of steel"!
Hope you find something out there that you are comfortable with.

I just had my wls and i developed lactose intolerance immediatly. I take a lactaid tablet before I eat or drink any dairy and it works fine.

good luck

Thanks everyone I really like the hood carbcountdown milk. It tastes way less sweet and as long as I only have a little I do ok with it.

I think i may have developed a little bit of an issue with milk, but it depends on the day to be honest. THere are days i can eat or drink dairy and be fine and others i get so sick ....I drink only skim milk in the home always have once the kids turned 2. But there are days i have it with some cereal and . Same with cream cheese, some days i have it and i am fine and others again . Our pouches are so picky, can never tell from one day to the next what i will tolerate that day and what i wont. But this issue is very common with us. Hang in there.

I can only drink a small amount of milk at a time. However in my oatmeal I'm fine with it. I tried cereal one morning about a month ago and thought I was dying. Haven't tried cereal since!!! I can eat cream cheese, regular cheese in small amounts etc.
