Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Use the shots with caution. The body can only process 30-35g protein at a time so the rest is wasted. Maybe use a 1/2 shot at a time...just a thought.

It's a taste you have to get used to. Truthfully they are not that good IMHO. They are thick like cough syrup which too is a textural thing.

Otherwise known as protein bullets. Do a search for bullets, there are a lot of past threads.

I found them at Walmart and Target, they do not smell or taste good but it 25 grams of protein in 3oz and they come in different flavors.

Also be aware that most are made with collagen protein or a protein blend which people with RNY or D/S do NOT absorb well!
Even the Whey Shot is NOT the same as the Whey (or Soy) protein ISOLATE which is the (Cadillac) best and most absorbent we post ops can get. Collagen and casein blends are like putting sub-par fuel in your car.

Your basically paying 2-4$ for something you "might" only get 10 grams of protein from and that tastes like .

If you have a band or are pre-op and can handle teh taste, go for it. You can find the Protein "Bullets" at Walmart, Costco, Target, etc. Most are pretty putrid tasting though for many folks.

I find getting an RTD (Ready to Drink) Protein shake by Muscle Milk or Pure Protein or Atkins to be a much better choice and tastes better too.
Best of luck!
Warmly,
Jackie
